As it was, it wasn’t going to get any better. They had no money, at least...not enough to do what the girls wanted to do, which meant they had nothing to do, or endure the whines that they didn’t really want to hear. So the Deuces wandered the streets, as they normally did when bored, cracking jokes and taking food from outside grocery displays. It made the light colorful and bright against the dull outer walls. But the place was packed; on Saturday night, why wouldn't it be? He walked to the prim dressed orderly at the entrance and sighed as he gave one of his precious dollars to the man. He only made 2.25 an hour at Hal's grocer, and that was only because he'd told the man he needed the money for college! But what else would he spend his money at? New SW story*It was bitter morning on Coruscant, but the city never slept. Hovercars and spacecraft still inhabited the skies, the morning light sprawling and reflecting off the jedi temple with brilliance. The only thing aside from the sun that told the time was the thick fog on the lower levels, and the fine mist on some upper levels. The council chamber was filled with jedi masters of legend, the light mist giving them an etherial wisdom and experience the young padawans hoped to acheive.
